JOHANNESBURG - Banyana Banyana return to action later this month in their bid for a place in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Coach Desiree Ellis confirmed a squad of 25 players as Banyana forward Thembi Kgatlana returns to the fold.
This is after she missed out on the previous CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations due to personal reasons.
Banyana take on the DRC in a crucial qualifier, with the winner over two legs set to book their tickets to WAFCON.
The tournament will once again be staged in March in Morocco.
The top four nations in that tournament will represent the continent at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
