JOHANNESBURG - The Junior Springboks are back in South Africa as U20 Rugby World Champions.
The team returned on Monday morning, arriving at the OR Tambo following their successful exploits in George.
Kevin Foote’s charges beat France in Saturday's final in Tbilisi to defend the title they won in Italy last year.
Foote’s squad has strung together the longest winning streak in Junior Bok history, with 11 straight wins in the tournament.
Coach Kevin Foote credited his players for remaining calm under pressure and continuing to believe.
