World Cup qualifiers | Broos talks up Bafana charges

JOHANNESBURG - Hugo Broos is confident in his Bafana Bafana charges getting the job done.

South Africa returns to their FIFA World Cup qualification quest where they look to punch their ticket for the 2026 global spectacle.

They face Lesotho and Nigeria in Group C, and maximum points will solidify their chances, as they sit top of the log.

However, Broos has had to tweak his squad with some new faces.

The squad features Kamogela Sebelebele, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Zuko Mndunyelwa.

While Ime Okon misses his maiden call-up in the senior national team due to injury.

Stellenbosch FC defender Thabo Moloisane replaces the injured Okon.

Orlando Pirates’ Sipho Mbule makes his return in the national team, courtesy of a late call-up to replace injured Patrick Maswanganyi.
