WATCH | Billions needed for JHB water infrastructure facelift

JOHANNESBURG - Lobby group, WaterCan, says they've gathered a petition by civil society groups and residents to compel the City of Johannesburg to disclose whether they have the resources needed to address the metro’s water crisis. 

It says ageing water infrastructure is severely impacting residents and needs urgent solutions. 

Some areas in the City continue to battle water outages with residents often going days without a drop.
