WATCH | Code Red declared in Pringle Bay as fires rage

CAPE TOWN - Strong winds are fanning flames in some parts of Overstrand Municipality in the Western Cape, making it difficult for firefighters to contain the blaze.

Authorities have evacuated residents for safety as the fire rages for an 8th day.

The Overstrand Municipality has declared a Code Red to residents as fires threaten to engulf their homes.
