JOHANNESBURG - ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula has opened a case of crimen injuria against Thuja Capital CEO Mthunzi Mdwaba.
Reports emerged recently of claims that three ministers approached Mdwaba in a bid to secure “gateway fees” of R500m from a R5bn UIF deal, which he had secured as seed capital to create employment for 250,000 people.
Speaking outside the Sandton Police Station on Thursday, Mbalula said the allegations are an attempt to discredit himself and the ANC.
