WATCH | Over 5,000 arrests in North West

NORTH WEST - More than 5,000 arrests have been effected since the festive season began in the North West through anti-crime campaigns, Operation Shanela and Vula Mgodi.

The arrests range from rape, murder, and assault to home and business burglaries. 

A call has been made for residents to work together with the police to ensure a safe festive season.
