JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says inefficiencies that existed at the country's borders allowed corruption and organised crime to thrive.
Ramaphosa was speaking at the official launch of the Border Management Authority, a new entity that’s tasked with securing the country’s boarders.
Hundreds of border guards have been employed to man the country's 72 ports of entry.
