JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg’s Disaster Management Centre has issued a Level 6 warning for tomorrow, signalling a high risk of severe thunderstorms.
All key city services including Johannesburg Roads Agency, Joburg Water, City Power and EMS are on high alert.
Residents are urged to clear blocked drains, avoid flooded roads, and move to higher ground if in low-lying areas.
Significant impacts expected include, localised flooding in both formal and informal settlements, low-lying areas and bridges.
