MEYERTON - Eleven suspects have been arrested at a Meyerton depot for alleged theft of fuel.
The Hawks’ Tactical Operations Management Unit received a tip-off about a planned robbery at the plant.
The area was placed under surveillance, and two tankers were observed entering the premises.
Preliminary investigations indicate they had been placed under administration.
Police suspect that security personnel at the site may have been working in cahoots with the suspects.
The suspects are aged between 27 and 46.
