GOMA - 13 South African soldiers have now been confirmed killed in the DRC.
Three soldiers were killed in a mortar attack by M23 rebels on Monday.
The attack happened near the airport in Goma in the Eastern DRC where the SANDF has set up a base.
Last week nine soldiers died in combat with M23 near Sake, with another succumbing to his wounds later.
Questions are being asked about the South African government's support for their deployment in the DRC.
Professor of Sociology at Stellenbosch University, Lindy Heinecken discussed this with eNCA.
