2024 elections | Political parties sign election peace pledge

MIDRAND - The Electoral Commission will oversee the signing of the Electoral Code of Conduct by political parties and independent candidates participating in the 2024 National and Provincial Elections.

This event signifies a commitment by candidates to abide by the code.

"From today on there will be a ballot paper draw which will lay the basis on which we can commence with the ballot printing process," said IEC CEO Sy Mamabolo.

"This is quite an exciting moment for us because it does provide the basis to move forward."
