A 7th suspect linked to AKA, Tibz murder arrested

JOHANNESBURG - A seventh suspect has been arrested for the murder of rapper, AKA (Kiernan Forbes) and celebrity chef, Tibz (Tebello Mostoane).

The suspect joins 6 other suspects who are due to appear in court on Thursday.

AKA and Tibz | KZN Police Commissioner says AKA was the target

AKA was shot dead, alongside Tibz last year in front of a restaurant on Florida Road, Durban.

The KZN Police Commissioner said AKA was the intended target of the shooting, and Tibz was just a coincidence.

The police provided these details during a briefing in Durban on Tuesday night.
