Almost 5,000 Post Office retrenchments going ahead

JOHANNESBURG - More bad news for Post Office employees facing retrenchments.

It’s been confirmed that nearly 5,000 workers will be retrenched.

This after the failure by Business Rescue Practitioners to secure TERS relief funding.

The news was handed down to them by the CCMA Commissioner.

It was hoped the money would be used to pay staff while upskilling and retraining them.
