JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has condemned public statements made by senior members Malusi Gigaba and Senzo Mchunu.
ANC NEC member Mchunu has warned the party is at risk of losing power if it fails to regroup before the 2026 local government elections. And former minister Malusi Gigaba has criticised the party's executive, saying it has lost direction.

The ANC says both members acted without mandate and violated its communication protocols. It describes their remarks as undermining unity and weakening public confidence in the party.
