Fourways ward councillor David Foley posted on Saturday, "I have just confirmed with the JHB water management team that the water has been turned off at the Bryanston reservoir for a massive burst in Bryanston."
"There is no burst at Winnie Mandela Drive and Witkoppen reported on other groups."
Good afternoon, I have just spoken to the depot manager.
The water has stopped at the site and they are busy excavating, once exposed the repairs will start. I will do an oversight visit to see the progress in the next couple of hours. No etr at this point.
