BLOEMFONTEIN - The asbestos corruption trial of former Free State Premier Ace Magashule and his co-accused resumes has been adjourned until tomorrow morning.
This comes as accused 17, Moroadi Cholota, requested a trial within a trial to challenge the court’s jurisdiction.
She claims that her extradition from the United States (US) was unconstitutional.
Additionally, accused two, Mahlomola Matlakala, sought a two-month postponement for a third time.
However, the judge again denied this request.
Magashule and his co-accused face charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering.
