Back to school | Parent threatens to take Gauteng Education to court

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education insists its online admission system is fully functional.

This as one frustrated parent says they will be taking the department to court.

Parents claim the online admissions system is not working properly.

Thousands of pupils have still not been placed, a day before classes resume.

"Parents have a right to take the decision that they think will work for them," said spokesperson Steve Mabona.

"The system works very well and that is evidence based."
