Broos: Mbokazi has shown 'unprofessional attitude'

PRETORIA - Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has slammed Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi.

Broos criticised what he calls the players' 'unprofessional attitude' following his failure to arrive at training camp on time.

He also questioned the Buccaneers' protection of Mbokazi.

The Bafana Bafana head coach also accused Mbokazi of thinking he is now a star.

The KwaZulu-Natal-born defender is on his way to Major League Soccer in the United States.

He has signed a four-year deal with an option for another year at Chicago Fire.

According to a club statement, the financial details were not disclosed.

The 20-year-old has been an integral part of the Sea Robbers since gaining promotion to the first team last season.

He has since broken into the Bafana Bafana squad and is expected to feature in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco later this month.
