Buthelezi remains in hospital

JOHANNESBURG - IFP founder Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has developed a complication and will remain hospitalised.

He was hospitalised after undergoing a procedure for back pain last week.

The family says his discharge date will depend on his recovery from the complication.

His family has thanked the public for the support and asked to allow him time to recover and rest ahead of his 95th birthday later this month.

Messages of support have been pouring from a number of organisations.
