Cape Town Gangs | Modack says police killed Colonel Charl Kinnear

CAPE TOWN - Before wrapping up his evidence in chief, Nafiz Modack told the Western Cape High Court that the police killed Anti-Gang Unit investigator, Colonel Charl Kinnear.

When asked by Judge Robert Henney whether he had personal knowledge of this, Modack said no, but added the information was contained in Kinnear’s affidavit to his superiors.

Kinnear was investigating Modack as well as corrupt police colleagues at the time he was shot dead outside his Cape Town home in September 2020.

Modack has pleaded 'not guilty'  to over 100 charges, including the murder of Kinnear.
