SLADANHA BAY - The state and defence in the Joshlin Smith kidnapping and human trafficking trial are set to deliver their closing arguments today (Tuesday), ahead of a highly anticipated judgment expected on Friday.
Western Cape High Court Judge Nathan Erasmus is due to hand down his ruling after 34 days of testimony and cross-examination.

Jacquen Appollis, Steveno van Rhyn, and Joshlin’s mother, Kelly, are facing charges related to the disappearance of the six-year-old, who vanished from her Middlepos home in Saldanha Bay in February last year.
The circumstances surrounding Joshlin’s disappearance remain unclear.
