FORT BEAUFORT - Four people have died and three others were injured in a head-on collision on the R63 between Fort Beaufort and Alice in the Eastern Cape.
A small vehicle was travelling from Dikeni towards Maqoma when it collided with a minibus taxi on Sunday night.

The driver of the minibus taxi sustained severe injuries while two adult females sustained serious and minor injuries respectively.
The occupants of the minibus taxi are being treated for injuries at the Fort Beaufort Provincial Hospital.
Police are conducting further investigations, and have since opened a case of culpable homicide.
