Court denies Zuma permission to appeal dismissal of Ramaphosa's private prosecution

JOHANNESBURG - Former President Jacob Zuma has lost his second court bid in two days.

The High Court has denied him permission to appeal the dismissal of his private prosecution of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Zuma accused Ramaphosa of being an accessory after the fact in his leaked medical records case.

In the original case, he wanted to take action against prosecutor Billy Downer and journalist Karyn Maughan.

Both his prosecutions were dismissed and now both his attempts to appeal the decisions have been thwarted.

Thes application was dismissed with costs.
