JOHANNESBURG - Diepsloot community members say the mob justice incident in the area on Tuesday could have been avoided.
They say crime is spiraling out of control.
This is despite repeated calls for President Cyril Ramaphosa to visit the area.

In the past two weeks, 12 people, including a police officer, have been killed during robberies and shootings.
Johannesburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda has paid a visit to the area but the community says their cries for better police protection have fallen on deaf ears.
