Crime in SA | Katlehong pastor found guilty of 31 rape, sexual assault charges

JOHANNESBURG - Katlehong pastor Benjamin Dingiso has been sentenced to an effective 20 years behind bars.

He was found guilty of 31 counts of rape and sexual assault in November last year.

The Arise and Shine Pastor raped and sexually groomed dozens of boys between 2009 and 2021.

The 52-year-old had claimed he was in consensual, loving relationships with the boys.
