CAPE TOWN - The DA and EFF have dragged Finance Minister, Enoch Godongwana, to the Western Cape High Court to try and halt the VAT hike.
Although Parliament adopted the fiscal framework earlier this month, both parties argue that the process was unconstitutional and deceptive.

The DA is raising key issues in its legal bid to halt the VAT hike.
And, it all comes down to whether Parliament followed the law.
The party argues both the National Assembly and NCOP adopted the fiscal framework without proper procedures.
