DA to take Social Development to Human Rights Commission over SASSA non-payment

JOHANNESBURG - The DA is taking Social Development minister Lindiwe Zulu and Sassa to the Human Rights Commission.

This over the continuing delays in paying September's social grants.

The elderly, the disabled, and those accessing child grants are among those affected by the interruptions to Sassa’s system.

All this is happening as Postbank has had to be in court with its suppliers to run SASSA’s grant payments.
