DA visits chaotic Durban port

DURBAN - The Democratic Alliance wants President Cyril Ramaphosa to establish a task team to look into the country’s port crisis.

The opposition party conducted an aerial inspection in Durban, as Transnet continues to struggle with the backlog of arriving ships and containers at the port.

DA leader, John Steenhuisen says during the inspection they noticed key sections that should be at their busiest, but are currently empty.

Steenhuisen says the economy continues to take a beating because of the ongoing crisis.
