At least 9 dead in KZN bus crash

JOHANNESBURG - At least 9 people have been killed and 17 injured in a bus crash outside Paulpietersburg in KwaZulu-Natal.

The bus, which crashed near Dumbe Dam, was carrying ANC supporters. They were returning from the ANC’s manifesto launch in Durban.

ANC Kwazulu-Natal spokesperson Mafika Mndebele says injured bus passengers are receiving the necessary treatment.

The ANC says it does not want to speculate and will wait for police to determine the cause of the bus crash that's claimed supporters' lives.
