EASTERN CAPE - The South African Human Rights Commission last week published a scathing report on its findings on the Enyobeni tavern tragedy in which 21 young people died.

The Commission found that the Eastern Cape Liquor Board, as a body that issues trading licences, neglected its duty to protect vulnerable people from the illegal trade of alcohol. 

Spokesperson for the Eastern Cape Liquor Board, Mgwebi Msiya, spoke to eNCA to respond to the findings.
