RICHMOND - Double murder-accused Alias Mkhize (51) will remain behind bars this festive season.
He has abandoned his bail bid after appearing briefly at the Richmond magistrate's court.
Mkhize is accused of the grizzly double murder of his mother and his sister.
Police says their heads had been chopped off and stashed inside a pit latrine.
The shooting was witnessed by a 12-year-old girl who escaped and alerted neighbours.
