Durban Metro officer arrested for fatally stabbing girlfriend

DURBAN - A Durban metro police officer has been arrested after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death.

The victim was also a metro police officer.

It is reported the couple were drinking alcohol when the incident took place.

The 27-year-old man is said to have then taken videos and pictures of the woman taking her last breath.

He then sent those to several people and posted them on social media.  

The suspect is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
