JOHANNESBURG - The EFF is accusing Acting Police Minister Professor Firoz Cachalia of political interference.
The party says he's trying to undermine the work of police in investigating political killings in KwaZulu-Natal.
It revolves around the return of 121 dockets to the Political Killings Task Team.
Cachalia slammed the police commissioner for returning them.

He said he should have waited for the Madlanga Inquiry which was set up to probe KZN top cop Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's claims of police corruption.
Part of that includes whether Deputy Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya had removed the dockets.
The EFF says Cachalia was irregularly appointed and is now revealing himself as an obstacle to justice.
