'Electricity crisis continues to slow economic growth' - Godongwana

JOHANNESBURG - We’ve become poorer over the last decade as a result of lacks in economic growth.

That’s according to finance Minister Enoch Godongwana.

Godongwana hosted a breakfast with Rand Merchant Bank on Thursday after delivering his 2024 budget speech.

He says the biggest contributor to poor economic growth is the country’s ongoing electricity crisis.
