Eskom implement Stage 6 power cuts

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has announced that it will be implementing Stage 6 power cuts.

The power utility made the announcement on Monday that it will begin from 5 am on Tuesday.

Eskom says the announcement comes are further breakdowns.

There has been repairs at Kriel and Medupi power stations after they broke down on Sunday.

Lethabo and Matla power stations will need to be shut down overnight for urgent repairs.

Stage 6 will continue until further notice.
