Eskom implements Stage 6 blackouts until Monday

JOHANNESBURG - Bad news on the electricity front.

Stage 6 blackouts will be implemented from midday unti 5am on Monday morning.

Eskom says this is due to insufficient emergency reserves and generating capacity.

The utility says it continues to closely monitor the power system and will publish updates.
