EXCLUSIVE | Tony Forbes speaks ahead of son's alleged killers appearing in court

JOHANNESBURG - AKA’s father, Tony Forbes shares their views with eNCA ahead of his son’s alleged murderers appearing in court.

At least five suspects in the killing of rapper Kiernan Forbes (AKA) and his friend, Tebello Motsoane (Tibz), are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

The rapper and the celebrity chef were shot dead on the 10th of February last year, outside the now-defunct Wish restaurant on Durban's Florida Road.

Seven people are in police custody, with two of those suspects arrested in Eswatini at the weekend.

Police say investigations reveal that hitmen were paid to assassinate AKA.

They played different roles in the murder.

Two shooters, two spotters as well as the organiser of firearms and vehicles, are behind bars.
