CAPE TOWN – A fire affecting operations at Cape Town International airport has been contained.
The fire broke out at the airport’s office building and a VIP lounge on Tuesday.
Some flights have been delayed due to this.There was also a precautionary evacuation of passengers and staff.
There is currently a serious fire at Cape Town Airport, suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Some passengers who took to social media reported loss of power and internet access.
