Five suspects shot dead in Randfontein

JOHANNESBURG - Five suspects have been killed in a shootout with police on the N14 in Randfontein, on the West Rand.

This is the road linking Mohlakeng in Randfontein and Ventersdorp in the North West. Police say the suspects were driving from
Carletonville.

Police spokersperson Katlego Mohale says the suspects have been targeting bulk bankers.

Police say the suspects' vehicles have been positively linked to three cases in Groblersdal, Secunda and Hercules.
