PRETORIA - President Cyril Ramaphosa is not breaking a sweat over the US President's latest genocide claims, but he’s not ignoring them either.
He will lead a South African delegation to the US next week to clear the air and discuss trade.
Ramaphosa will meet US President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday.
The Presidency says the meeting is an opportunity to reset relations between the two countries.
Trump has been attacking South Africa's land and other policies, and claims white Afrikaners are being treated badly. This led to Trump offering to resettle white Afrikaners as refugees in the US.
On Sunday, a group of 49 Afrikaners boarded a chartered plane from OR Tambo International Airport to Dulles Airport in Virginia, USA.

The batch consisting of women, children and men heeded President Donald Trump’s call to relocate to the US as refugees while accusing the SA government of discriminating against them.
This stems from the falsehoods about land expropriation and white genocide in the country, Ramaphosa says he needs to set the record straight with Trump on the false genocide claims made about SA.
Presidency spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya says that the main aim of the visit,
is to develop a new trade framework with the United States.
Mgwenya says that Ministers, Ronald Lamola, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, John Steenhuisen and Parks Tau will accompany President Cyril Ramaphosa.
