JOHANNESBURG - Now that a judge has found Kelly Smith and her two co-accused guilty of trafficking her daughter, Joshlin, attention turns to sentencing.
One legal expert is warning that a heavy sentence awaits the trio.
On Friday, Smith alongside her partner, Jacquen "Boeta" Appollis, and their friend, Steveno van Rhyn were found guilty of kidnapping then-6-year-old Joshlin.

The judgment was handed down in Saldanha Bay community hall where scores gathered to hear the verdict.
Judge Nathan Erasmus said the three accused kidnapped and trafficked the little girl for purposes of exploitation.
The community of Saldanha Bay welcomed the judgment saying it was justice being served.
