OUDTSHOORN, WC - Acting President, Paul Mashatile, on Wednesday gave the keynote Heritage Day address in Oudtshoorn, in the Western Cape.
The theme for the address was 'Re-imagine our Heritage Institutions for a New Era.'
In his address, Mashatile said the theme encourages us to honour our history while looking to the future.
Mashatile explained that the theme highlights why all South Africans should use heritage as a means to create a society that is adaptable, responsive, and inclusive.
