Higher education dept: Dissolving NSFAS board won’t affect student allowances

JOHANNESBURG - The dissolving of the NSFAS board won't affect the payments of allowances to students.

This is the promise from the Higher Education Department.

Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande dissolved the NSFAS board on Thursday.

In a meeting, the Minister announced he had decided to place the institution under administration.
