Hostage drama at Gold One mine finally ends

JOHANNESBURG - The underground hostage drama at the Gold One in Springs, has ended.

All 500 plus miners have resurfaced after spending three days underground.

At the heart of the protest is union recognition.

Amcu says it has more members than the NUM which is the majority union currently. This matter is in fact before the courts.
