Gigaba was Public Enterprises Minister between 2010 and 2014.
IDAC spokesperson Henry Mamothame said they are still engaging with Gigaba further confirming that he has not appeared before court nor has he been arrested.
Although the specific charges remain unclear, Gigaba said earlier that he would fully cooperate with investigators and maintains that his conscience is clear.
In a follow-up post after the IDAC statement, Gigaba wrote:
“It turns out I am not going to appear in court today. Let me go back home and rest. Later.”
