JOHANNESBURG - The inquest into the death of human rights lawyer and anti-apartheid activist Griffiths Mxenge has been postponed to 27 November 2025.
The matter was postponed to allow for the finalisation of legal representation for former police officers expected to testify before the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

The state attorney is expected to submit written update by 27 October.
Mxenge was brutally murdered back in 1981 and at the time his daughter, Ntombodidi Makhanya was only just eight-years-old.
