Independent Development Trust CEO, Tebogo Malaka, was filmed offering R60,000 in cash to Pieter-Louis Myburgh, to kill a story.
The publication has been investigating an IDT contract and its links to one of Malaka’s upmarket properties.
Myburgh says the publication is considering its next steps.
Malaka was suspended for after Public Works Minister Dean Macpherson released the findings of a forensic investigation into an irregular oxygen plant tender worth R836-million.
