JOHANNESBURG - The High Court in Johannesburg will hand down judgment in the trial of pre-school teacher Amber Lee Hughes.
She is accused of raping and killing her partner’s four-year-old daughter, Nada Jane Challita.
The little girl was found drowned in a bathtub in her home in January 2023.
During the trial, the court heard that Hughes had a volatile relationship with the child's father.
She has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
