BLOEMFONTEIN - The Supreme Court of Appeal is set to deliver judgment in Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s bid to have her deportation from Tanzania declared unlawful.
Magudamana is seeking to have the charges against her nullified.
Her legal team approached the Supreme Court of Appeal after the Free State High Court ruled in June that she had consented to her April 2023 return to South Africa, despite her claims that police had abducted her.
Magudumana is listed as accused number one in the escape of convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester.
She faces charges including fraud, violating a corpse, corruption, and defeating the ends of justice.
